What's in Your Bag? ***
Details: I always have a book with me, this week it is the beginning of everything, I recommend it. My keys, security card for my building, my train pass, a mirror, my wallet that I bought in Italy, tissues and body spray. I also have way too many lip balms and lipsticks. I tend to keep gum or tic-tacs in my purse although I rarely chew gum. That's about it!
Acrostic Pictures ***

I had fun with this project. I would think of characteristics for myself but then I didn't know how to show that in a picture. So I narrowed it down to these pictures. I used photoshop to add the words. I went a step further to pick specific fonts and colors that I felt matched the image. I eye dropped the color of the sky for energetic and the pink of the sprinkle for sweet. Other colors were chosen based on what would pop.
Post-It Notes **
The assignment said to create a character and make a post it note to do list for that character. I took the character Barney Stinson played by Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother. he is hilarious and has a very distinctive personality. So he was easy to come up with fake ideas for a to do list. If anyone has seen the show I am sure they can figure out some of my inside jokes.
These Are a Few of My Favorite Things **
I am not very good at this. I had a more elaborate picture but it was too complictated. So I chose this picture because as you already know I love my dog. I also love flowers. I used an app on my phone called Aviary, I love it I use it to retouch all of my pictures.
I love your dog and flowers picture--they really pop and the background (picture on the wall, pattern on the pillow) just look really visually interesting. I think it's a perfect blend of interesting, but not too complicated and distracting. Ok--we both did the what's in your bag thing and it was good to clean out our bags and get an assignment done. I also like your choice of Barney Stinson from How I met your Mother--he is such a strong character, so the post-its worked well. nice work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Larissa! I wanted to have fun with the post it assignment and I love How I Met Your Mother and like you said Barney is such a strong character so I knew I had to use him for that assignment. I really did have fun this week!
